imageThank you Chuck Morris for always supporting #MagicMusic
“Starting with my first club Tulagi in Boulder in 1970 and promoting thousands of concerts for 46 years I have watched the growth and explosion of local grown Boulder Denver bands using predominately acoustic instruments playing music defined in such various terms as bluegrass, folk rock, hippy music, jam band music, alternative country etc. etc. Too many to mention the 2 earliest pioneers were the transplant Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Magic Music followed by other iconic bands Hot Rize,String Cheese Incident,Leftover Salmon, and Yonder Mountain String Band just to mention a few. Although not as successful as the Dirt Band, Magic Music had a huge influence on our music community and the growth of this wonderful musical genre so associated with Colorado, performing some of the greatest shows I have ever been associated with. It is wonderful after all these years that they were able to record such a brilliant piece of music celebrating not only their music but the 5 decades of music so associated with our great state” .
